I'm having trouble finding any rotors besides oem when looking for '06s now though. An extra inch and oem is probably better for me than smaller slotted rotors though...

terra- when you did the '06 upgrade, did you keep your stock calipers and just change the brackets then?

I just changed the brackets and rotors . I looked up the calipers and found out they are the same, so i figured swapping and having to bleed them would just be plain stupid in my case.

Its actually a full inch
Fronts are an inch bigger, but this thread is about rear brakes.

Originally looked at the Racing Brake website and their replacement rotors for
03-05 are 292x16mm (11.5" x 0.6")
06-08 are 307x16mm (12.0" x 0.6")

Right now I am looking at official 2005 and 2006 Nissan 350Z brochures...
2005 says 11.5"x0.63"
2006 says 12.1"x0.63"

That's great to know. So the piston size on the rear caliper is the same for all years? The only thing that changed was obviously the bracket and the rotor? Nice. Might have to look into this upgrade since it will be cheap and relative cheap insurance for track days.
