Default Tein Springs

Well I finally got my car on a lift to see just what was used to lower the car. The cheap *** that had my 03 touring model before me, cut the springs. No wonder the ride was like getting laid by a fat chick. Anyway Ive ordered some Tein springs that lower the car .7" in the rear and .5" in the front. I have 19" wheels on my car and low profile Hankook tires. Does anyone have a picture of their drop with the Tein springs and 19" rims? How does your car feel from stock to the Tein springs? Is ground clearence a problem for you?

If you search there is plenty of pics for what you requested. There's not that much transition from stock to Tein. Will still feel close to stock. It's a mild drop. You shouldn't have any clearance issues, unless you have a low aftermarket front clip. And even then it shouldn't be to bad. As I said, it's a mild drop.

I have had Tein, Hotchkis and now I am on Eibach prokit.

Justin,

So you went ahead and ordered the Tein S-Techs, right? Are you going with any camber arms?

Yeah Dan talked me into it. I can't afford the Tein CS system right now $1,400 so I went ahead and just ordered the springs. Im going to wait and see if the springs center out the wheel angle... Dan said he thought they would. If they don't Im probably going to have to order some camber arms or at least get new tires and get an alignment at Firestone or Pepboys. I heard both have lifetime warranties on their alignments.

Here is my car now

I will post some new pics of my car Friday when I get my springs installed.

I think Dan told me they run about $240. Another $100 for installation. What kind of prices have you guys found?

Would the Teins require a camber kit? .6 & .7 is not much, and I heard that if it's over .8" drop then yes.

Anyone?

which one do you like out of those 3 for performance wise i don't really care about the difference in ride i would think all of them would ride about the same as stock

I would say do not go to pepboys to get anything done, around here those guys can't even mount directional tires the right way on a stock civic wheel wouldnt trust them with a z
