Default EDFC with Tein MonoFLEX

It's ok to use the 32 level mode for the damping force with the monoflex? As it saids in the manual, page 30, point 2:

"The range of the damping force of 32-level mode and 16-level mode are the same (the range between the hardest level and the softest level). 8th level in 16-level mode is equivalent to 16th in 32-level mode. If a driver wants to set at 8.5th level in 16-level mode, he can set to 17th level in 32-level mode and enjoy finer adjustament of the damping force."

So it's like you can use the 32 level mode and have more resolution, it's that right?

I have another question (newbie question):
Rear springs have a brown plastic on it. When you install, you have to quit this brown plastic or just leave it?

Thanks in advance.
