Default Clunking coming from front suspension.

Hey Guys, This cold weather has been taking a toll on my car and it seems that everytime the temp gets below freezing when I first get into the car and pull out of my driveway the front suspension pops. Its pretty loud and very unsettling. Im not sure if this is related but also when I'm driving around turns at any speeds and the road is not perfectly smooth the car will "sway" like something in the suspension is not doing its job. After some research I am thinking its the endlinks but am not 100% and would like to know if any one has maybe experienced this and can point me in the right direction before I buy some $300 endlinks. I tried searching but after 7 pages of filtering through I couldnt find anything that fit exactly what I was looking for so any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick

Read this:

basically the upper arm bolts weren't torqued enough from the factory on certain Z's. Check your VIN and try that first, it's cheap.

I had a clunking sound, and it was the nut on the bolt that connects the link to the sway bar.
Easy to check too.

2003, 49k miles, no recent suspension work, but always adding parts to the engine etc, I have never hit a curb and the wheels and tires dont show any signs of any contact either.
