Default HKS HiperMax III --- FINALLY!!

I have good news and great news! HKS HiperMax III's will be officially released VERY VERY SOON. I also have good word that the pricing on the 350z/G35 will be $1995 retail, putting them at a very good selling price of $1715.70.

The first 10 people that pre-order will receive a $50 gift certificate to MVP to be used on anything you want.

I can not say yet exactly what day they will be released, but I can tell you that if you pre-order now you will get a set from the first shipment to MVP and that it will make a very nice Valentine's Day gift for your loved one on 4 wheels.

Spring Rates: 9k front and rear

Key Features:
• Hiper Linear Piston – Linear progression piston adjusts oil passages for precise stroke management resulting in smoother valve movements. As piston speed increases, dampening rate linearly increases.
• Strengthened rubber upper mounts – enhanced durability
• Monotube design
• Shock-body length adjustable (most applications)
• 65mm diameter springs – Cold wound and manufactured in-house at HKS to ensure quality and consistency
• Stainless lock nut & ride height adjuster – feature anti-rust & corrosion characteristics for enhanced durability.
• 30-way adjustable dampening
• Hard chrome-plated cylinder shaft
• Non-electrolysis Nickel plated shock bodies provide durability in severe weather conditions.
• Pillowball upper mounts optional on certain applications
• Dustboots standard
• 1 year limited warranty

As we sell the first 10 sets I will list here in the first post how many sets are still available with the $50 MVP Gift Certificate.

Call in or email me to reserve your set along with your $50 MVP Gift Certificate.

If anyone has any questions let me know!

Thanks,
Robert

After reading your post, do these come with hard rubber mounts? Are the pillow ball mounts the extra option?

The drag coilovers will not be brought back for the III series.

Endless:
Hard upper mounts are standard on the street version(price listed) but may be an option for 350Z at a later date. Japan already has this option but HKS USA is telling me that they don't know if/when it will come to US that way. The sport model will come standard with pillowball upper mounts though.

I have collected specs that differ in some areas from what you show.

HKS Hypermax III 9/10 (part number 80140-AN009)
Digressive piston design
Hard rubber upper mount
Full height adjustablity seperate from spring preload

HKS Hypermax III Sport 11/12 (part number 80155-AN009)
Looks like it uses linear valving vs digressive
Pillowball upper mounts (HKS call's them 'Pyro" mounts)
Full height adjustablity seperate from spring preload

It is not like your OEM suspension in the rear. It's all 1 peice.

FYI you can also use the $50 gift certificate towards the purchase of the coilovers

so are you going to sell an arm to replace the spring cup arm, or will that piece stay in place?

Then none of the spring rates are correct..

Published spring rate data at HKS Japan makes it all but impossible that the
Z33 setups are truecoilovers in the rear.

While polite, I've never been impressed with whoever gives out info at HKS USA.
