Default Considering Zeal XS or Tein Mono Flex? Need opinion

Hi guys, I am considering suspension upgrade. I am thinking of Zeal XS or Tein Mono Flex. Does anybody have any experience on these? I did a search, but couldn't seem to find any thing on them, especially Zeal XS. By the way, would the Zeal XS fit 2007 Z? Thanks in advance for any help/suggestion and sorry if I missed a thread on any of these.

this shouldn't even be a choice if you considering Zeal.

I believe the best bang for the buck is the Tein Mono Flex. Make sure to get the EDFC. Well worth it.

Both setups are very well liked by their owners. One thing that is unknow is valving, though it's almost guaranteed that both are in a different level vs other products. Without a shock dyno of the two setups that you have read by a independent source that now's what to look for, your not going to really know beyond the court of public opinion how the two differ dampning wise. Though Zeal has it's supporters that will take it to the grave that the charts will smash anything Tein can push out the door. Thing is, I have never ever read anything other then owner voices to get any kind of a idea what makes Zeal any better, Ohlins on the other hand makes things very clear why I might want their product as far as valving design goes.

Something else.

How much spring rate reaches the wheel vs each setup.

Zeal XS truecoilover setup (560/448)
265lbs/lbs448

Tein Monoflex (784/784)
371lbs/330lbs

Notice the very high rear bias with the Zeal setup. Unless you special order the oem style rear setup, then this is how that setup looks

265lbs/189

IMO, spend a little more and get Ohlins DFV

Thanks for the info. I did realize the rear bias on Zeal XS. I am just worrying the Tein's spring might be too stiff. Anyway, I will definitely look at Ohlins first.

if you want Zeal go for something else. XS is an entry model from Zeal. But Zeal's build quality is still there.
