what kind of pad are they using??
if you give me a 2k i will personally fly there and change them for you, with top-end parts!
that would be 2K+3% paypal fee
$225 is actually for just 1 front pad, rears were "only" $133 each or so.

I have the brembos for my 2006 Track.
I just picked up the front rotors - Brembo sport slotted for $333 at Tire rack.
The rears are $318. So $652 for upgraded rotors....which you probably don't neet.

As for pads...you can pick up the porterfield R4S (for example) for $220 for a full set! You could find pads cheaper as well.

So total you are looking at 800-900 for decent to good rotors and pads.

Before I started tracking my car I would have never considered changing rotors. Now....it is so easy. I would guess it takes about 1 hour to do the front and 1 to do the back. And that includes getting it up on jack stands and bleeding the brakes.

I say get a buddy, read these helpful DIY's and do it yourself. If you get stuck, post on here. Someone will help.

I can just hear myself in the background "Its even better not to rip the wrong people off and have someone like me have nissan put their big rice filled corprate boot up your ***"

Make a copy of that invoice and call nissan corparte and file a complatant for overchargering..lolz then go back later and call for the same work and see if he sings a different tune

Since you are in CA, can you identify which dealership so we can avoid them?
Thanks,
Marc

This might be the worst dealer quote I've ever seen for any item in my life.
