Aftermarket suspension owners, please read.
Hi guys,
We just installed the S Tune kit on my car 2 days ago, and I was wondering how long it would before the drop settles down. I have about 100 miles on the car maybe.
My main question for those who have an aftermarket suspension is, was the drop at each of the wheels uniform around the whole car initially? I was looking at my car this morning, and the driver side rear, and front right corner seem to have dropped a sizeable amount more than the right rear and left front. I can fit 2 fingers in the gap between the tire and fender on those corners, and three on the others. I'm assuming they will all even out after I've driven for a while, but I was wondering if this is normal. I know opposite corners are used when corner weighting a car, so it seems like the opposite corners are behaving in sync. Thanks guys.

I have only had the s-tunes on this week, but it does seem to get better. I had the same problem on the rears, the drivers side rear sat about a half finger's gap difference, but has seemed to get better over the past couple days, it is getting very close now. I thought it may have been the novice installer (me), this was my first time to install shocks/springs.... But, I am gald to hear I not the only only one that has seen this.
I will let you know in a few more days, or maybe a week, how it turns out. I would be curious to know how it turns out for you also.

Thanks for the input bro...makes me feel better!
My guess is it has to do with weight distrubution on the suspension. The driver adds 200+lbs give or take to the driver side...so when the car accerlates, weight is transferred back to that corner (in a straight line). My guess is that if you put a load of bricks in the passenger seat, it will even out...but I'm sure it will balance out after a little time, and enough left hand turns to get more weight back to the right rear.

There is still a hint of bounce, but much more like what I had expected, handling is improved, seems sharper and more in control on sharp corners. Slightly firmer, but I like firmness, and it is not any harsher than stock. It is a little difficult for me to say, only becuase at the same time I went from the stock 17's to 19's with 245 and 275's, so that obviously has had some effect on the handling characteristics....
