Default So what is the difference between these two bars?

So I here I am searching for a used GT Spec lower rear tie brace. Personally I wanted to find a used one or so I can get it painted red. The reason why I wanted it in red is due to the fact that my hotchkis sways, battleversion cambers and toe arms are all red. The blue GT Spec lower rear tie brace would throw off the color. While searching I came across this this generic brand lower rear tie brace. There is a huge cost difference which I can buy the generic brand and get it painted. Heck I can almost buy 5 sets and get it painted I am not so much into generic brand (well except my Nismo kit) but for a bar I think I can let it slide. So here is my question. Is there a difference between these two?

Now to think about it I think you're right. Wasn't really paying attention at the moment.

at first thats how I approached it but since I autox my car, I really don't want to take a chance of something snapping on me.

It's a straight bar? if you autox then im sure you inspect susp items correct? im sure you'd see a weld coming apart. I say go for it. I wouldnt think there would be that much pressure on that bar to snap anything anyways.

Why would you want to paint something that you can't even see?

on my car, the rear will be visible because I fold the rear bumper, and the exhaust I am getting. Here is an example of what I am talking about. Also it is not confirm if I am going to get it painted.

idwin,

Still leaning towards no. I came across this warning and it is a risk I don't want to chance it.
