rear suspension creaking
Hey all, I get a loud creaking noise from the rear suspension, usually when going really slow, especially when on an uneven surface.
I actually heard it this morning as I was filling up with gas, so that would mean it's a suspension piece for sure... right?
My hunch is that it is a dry bushing making the creaking noise, but I just finished lubricating the sway bar bushings and it didn't help. So, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this same problem before I waste a day lubricating all the rear suspension bushings.

oh, also, I have had the TSB for the axle clicking and I don't believe this is related.

Ah, somewhat rested so I can give you a better response. At your mileage this is definitely your end link. I had the same issue (going slow over uneven surfaces - driveway, and in constant radius turns on the opposite side of the link). I initially thought the spring had somehow shifted and was creaking in it's perch, but upon further inspection the left rear end link was the root cause.
Solution is to replace the end link. You can go factory, which are pretty cheap, or go aftermarket adjustable. Here is a link to where you can get factory rear end links for the right price: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...16&catalogid=1
I called a few local dealerships and their quotes varied wildly. Anywhere from $32/link to *GASP* $64/link. Order online and save the hassle.

I have this same strange creaking in my rear wheels after driving quite hard the other day. The car does have 124k on it also...
I layed other the car and rocked it up and down and get a definitive creaking near the end link. I lubed it up a little, but no luck. Looks like I might try replacing these.
Could it be anything else? Zbig, did this solve your issue?

I have creaking in the rear of my 03 performance with 54k, and I replaced the end links but it didn't help. It only creaks when I accelerate and it "squats", not when I'm turning at low speeds (like a lot of others experience). Is there any other part that would need replacing in order to get rid of this annoying sound?

Mine knocks loud too especially when backing out of my driveway.
I have to back down a steep hill and cut it at the same time.
When my rear tires hit the flat street it pops and my bushings were just recently greased.
