Most people would say, go with coilovers since your in coilover "price" range (almost)...

I am going to run the same exact setup probably next summer, i just run on my stock shocks until they go...

thezstore has the best prices i have seen on these

I would say coilovers, you won't regret if you are doing it right the first time.

wow thezstore does have them for a great price... I'm going to run this set-up as well. I have the D-specs on my Saleen and the ride is great. But the saleen is a tank compared to the Z so we'll have to see.

Hopefully this setup is good. I've got it sitting in boxes at my house right now. I'm getting it put on next week. It is "near" coilover prices, but I got the shocks/springs/camber kit all shipped new for barely over $800. The only coilover setup I found new for that price was the Tein Basics, and those weren't what I was looking for on my car. Good luck with the setup though. Also, CVR Motorsports had great pricing on the D-Specs when I bought them, I'd message them if you order those.

Of all the shocks you could go with, D-specs would be the best choice. Not just because they are nicely valved, but to help overcome the fact that GF210's are mildly sprung and won't have much shock piston stroke. Hopefully, setting the D-specs their higher settings will reduce how often your impacting the cars unforgivng oem bumpstops. When you set D-specs higher, your adjust both rebound and compression dampning vs Koni's that would only be adjusting rebound. Of course the odds of compromising piston stroke isn't normally a issue with coilovers.
