Well I was going to say those brakes look really nice but sounds like you guys all need to get a room

Less looking at other peoples crotches, more modding and driving.

Hope the brakes work as well as they look.

Not a problem. I thought about pulling my wheel this year but after going to GTlive with noah and the GTspec crew I see it as being to much trouble.

Somebody say PIMP the rental van? LOL

OK.. so .. I took it out to bed in the brakes, and noted the pedal was soft when I first hit it, and then realllly niiiiice when I hit it the second time.. damn. I have air in my lines still...

So .. I took it for a few more passes and hard 'almost' stops, to push the bubbles (hopefully) out to the bleeder nipples, and drove it around for a bit to cool off the system, and remove cavitation from the fluid... then back home for another round of bleeding.

My buddy Brent (BamBam) came back over and we did another round of bleeding. I was amazed that there was, indeed still air in the lines. Not much mind you, but enough to make the pedal feel spongy.

Took it back out to complete the bed in... and WOW. the pedal feels great. nice and firm.

braking from 60 to about 20 is nice (no full stops while bedding the pads)
braking from 80 to 20 is NIIIIIIICE...
Doing it many times without a trace of fade.. SUPER.

Drove the car around for a bit more to let the brakes cool. Took her home and put the side skirts back on.

Will have plenty of pictures at the end of the week, trying to get the car ready for HIN DC.

Will update this post with track impressions on the race pads that I ordered with the kit. So far I am impressed with the street pads that came included.

One satisfied BC customer (so far!)

I think that the rear hat is cast iron.. rear rotors are allot heavier than the fronts
