Default Rack & Pin. replacement....

I'm experiencing this phenomenon when I turn sharply right, my steering wheel sticks for a moment and then gives way...Its not the alignment..I believe its the R&P...anyone ever gone through this ?...curious on labor charges.

If I were you, I would take it into the dealer and try to get a new Z (or have them fix it at least. Go big!)...
I don't know much about cars, but I'm still not 100% sure about what you are describing. If it sticks just when you turn right, I have no idea. If it is only when you are at a complete lock, then I have no idea as well! It may be a power problem, just look for the dash lights loosing brightness.
