"It takes a big man to cry. It takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man" that quote is hilarious

Yeah, when it gets down to about 40 mine didn't hold it up at all. I was pissed the day that 500lb hatch came down on my head.

I got the heavy duty hatch struts from Z1 Performance. The look good and work great. They squeak a bit when new, but put a bit of oil on them and there good.

I'm definitely going to have to do this soon.

How easy were they to install? Did you do it yourself?

He's talking about the hatch struts and yes he is right. The stockers often won't support the added weight of the wing and you'll find the hatch closing on your head.

He's not BS'ing you. And to the three above me. Usually a good idea to have a clue before you post.

Takes 10 minutes, a wrench, a friend (to hold up the hatch), and a case of beer.

AZ FTW! The heat seems to have an effect on the shocks here. not sure if its heat related, but happen all to often here.

Moderators.....this should probably be in the exterior/interior section not brakes/suspension. The OP is looking for the rear hatch struts.

Guess I'll throw my question in here also. Anyone had issues with their struts using the Blitz spoiler? I would think not as it's a pretty light unit, but I haven't got mine on yet to try.

You're doing it wrong.

Is it on backwards or something?

ince this is the brakes and suspension section, when you say shocks.. we think suspension, not hatch struts.
