Default New brake pads again??

I have a 2005 350z roadster with a little less than 30,000km so about 18,600 miles and it seems that I already need new pads for the second time. Last year in late May I had to get front pads and rotors changed and now my brakes are beginning to constantly squeek again when I brake! I've only had the new brakes for about 10,000km now, this can't be normal. I know it depends on how much strain you put on the brakes and will fluctuate in terms of miles, but its not like I autocross or anything that like. I mainly just drive from my house to my university which is a 30 minute drive. How can my pads already be worn? Is this normal? I know it can't be because of my wheels considering my volks are quite light.

Have you actually checked the pads for wear? How do they look?

What does “worn” mean? How thick are they?

Squeaking when you brake doesn't mean they're worn. You could just have a glaze buildup on the pads. Do you tend to brake for a long distance when you stop or do you tend to be more forceful?
If you're brakes squeal when you're not on them, then that's when they are truly worn out. That squealing would be the wear indicators.
I've got nearly 28,000 on mine and I've still got about 40-50% pads left.

I just assumed they were getting worn out again due to the squeling, I guess that could also be like dust caught in between the brakes? In terms of braking, I try not to be forceful but I have to some of the time. Regularly, I tend to brake for a long distance. So if its just glaze buildup on the pads, how can I get ride of that?

Long distance braking is what tends to build glaze. I brake relatively hard (scared a car salesman once!). There are quite a few different brake cleaners available. You might talk to someone at a brake shop and see what they recommend. Of course, they'll probably recommend that you bring the car in and let them charge you a bazillion dollars, but you should be able to clean them yourself.
