Tein basics from my understanding is non-adjustable. It's probably good though but I've never had experience with it. The good thing about d-specs is that they're adjustable. Get springs that have a spring rate and height you're happy with and go from there. I have the d-specs but I've also heard good things about the koni yellows. Good luck~

i see tein basic's spring rate is some where 400~500, compare w/ tanabe or eibach, they are around 300~400 maximum.

If i want a little bit stiffer spring rate w/ tokico, what would be good choice and drop?

Here's a pretty comprehensive list of spring rates and drops:

If your choice is between Tanabe GF210/Tokico D Specs vs Tein Basics, go with the Tanabe/Tokico combination. It's an overall better spring/shock combination with the adjustability of Tokico D Specs.

Other options in that price range are Stance or BR coilovers. Both are great for the price you pay.
