Default front support brace

Just wondering if any of you have this installed
http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/mm5...Code=350Z_SUSP
Did you feel it made any difference? Obviously you have to remove it any time you want to clean/replace the air filters, but I guess that is no big deal.
I'm thinking it looks pretty good (and it fits the HR engine!)

Looks like someone invented a solution to a problem that was not a problem in the first place.

david, there is a reason why nismo z comes with it... IMO it would help if there is a " long nose" bumper or simply more downforce up front.

Interesting, I always wonder about this brace ever since I saw it on the Nismo Z.

Well, that is what made me start thinking about it in the first place. My car is a roadster and I am looking to find the best way to stiffen it up a little more.

I definitely want to look into this as I became interested when I saw it on the Nismo and wondered if anyone made it for the pre-07s with the VQ35DE

Buy two of them, use some washers for clearance and mount one on top of the other. Then it will be twice as stiff!
Be sure to add the Nismo Z, GT Spec, and Tanabe bracing as well.

Don't worry, some of us are still hear that want to help. Though I don't see the product being able to resist much in the way of force, so I kinda understand his criticism.

I am waiting for data showing how these braces (and others)...
1)Improve structural rigidity
or
2)Improve suspension function
or
3)Increase longevity of other components
or
4)Decrease lap times

Now, I anticipate that one of the responses will be something along the lines of, "I can feel...". If that is the case, the "feeling" would be measureable in some manner. If arguments were made to the contrary then a double-blind test between braced and unbraced cars would be required.

I think you state the essence of the question here very succinctly (and it's a shame you didn't do that in your earlier post where you sounded like a complete ***** BTW).
So why do you think Nissan bothered to put these on the Nismo 350Z?
That is what still leaves me with a little uncertainty.
