Do they use rubber or urethant bushings? If it's urethane they tend to make a knocking noise when they unload.

all the coils do this. its because there is no rubber piece in between the top of the spring and the bottom of the spring. look at ur stock components and u will see what i mean. basically makes the noise go away. no if u have OEM type rears then that would explain why its only up front. i have true coils and i get it on all four corners. i wouldnt sweat it.

Take a wrench and tighten the nut on top of the coilover. Its just under the adjustment ****. That should do the trick. When i got mine it was doing the same thing but i also had to tighten the rears which was a *****. For some reason they come from the factory loose.

truth. I did that and it solved the problem, but eventually it came loose again. I'm way to lazy to care, the noise makes me feel like i'm driving a super fast race car, like a true ricer.

yup youre right. i have the true coilovers in the rear and has the rubber bushings in the front. went to stance and they said the same. just tighten the nut.
