Default Red or Black Calipers on my D Blue?

Red might stand out more but it might lood dumb, then again black is just so plain no "bling" to it.

So I am leaning towards red and wanted others opinions.

This is rotors, calipers, pads and SS lines.

black;

Hey Max,
I would go with red. In fact, if my Stoptechs don't fit behind my new Enkei RPO-2j's that I have on the way, I will have to sell my brand spankin new Stoptech 13.1" big brake kit. I'll return the favor on the great deals you gave me if they don't fit if your interested. I'll know by the end of next week.

Either way, go red!!!

I think you should go with the black... personally I think that matches A LOT nicer with the Daytona Blue color. Having a bright red caliper with a bright blue car seems kinda clashy doesn't it?
It won't be as flashy but it definitely will look a lot cleaner imho.
But of course... thats just my opinion. hehe

That's why I posted, multiple opinions means more input.

In a perfect world they would be gold but can't beat the price for performance.

Red calipers are over-done and everywhere. Go with BLACK.

Question

Hi ,Sanderman,
Can you give a brief review of you AP brake kit?

I read someone's maxima equiped with AP 4 pistion that has 1 piece rotor weren't too happy about it, because after two track days his rotor cracked..

Mine work just fine. I had them on my 300 twin turbo as well and never had a problem there either. When it comes to the internet it seems there is always "some guy" who had a problem with everything. Was he running the correct pads? Was it a one off defect in a rotor? Was he a shill slamming the product? Who the hell knows? Stillen has sold a ton of these over the years to Z owners and if that's the only negative comment you can find I'd say they are doing pretty well.

One of the reasons I went with AP is that they are commonly used on the track and have a great reputation for quality and durability. And I've found that combined with 245 width rubber up front the car now has absolutely phenomenal stopping capability.

I couldn't be happier with the brakes

Hi, Joe

Thanks for the review

He didn't specify which pad he used,
but I think cross drilled rotor in nature is easier to crack ?

anyway, I will see when I get my AP brake kit and run a few track events
