Default Picked up my Big Brake Kit!

I received my BBK the other day and am looking forward to having it installed once my new rims come in. I found a website for a company called On A Dime Performance Brake Systems and spoke to Alex. He set me up with a 6 piston Wilwood kit that consisted of the SuperLite 6 piston calipers, Wilwood Pads, 13" drilled and slotted rotors and braided brake lines. I couldn't beat the price of $1250! Hit me up with a PM if you want more info! I will have install pics once the new wheels and tires are on. :-)

Now I have to find suspension!

Here is a pic.

I imagine the price is so low becaue it does not come with 2 piece rotors. 2 piece rotors add considerable cost. But they look good. Enjoy!

Exactly. Since I am not going to take my car to the track I had no need for a 2 piece rotor. They put this kit together with that in mind. I will post up some install pics when they are on with the new wheels.

Very nice, 4 Piston looks pretty decent also. Can't wait to see your pics

So with that set up for the front, what do people typically keep on the rear? Stock, of something inbetween...

It's going to be a set up just like the front but with a 4 piston caliper using the same 13" rotor. Alex at OnADimepbs.com will have the rear kits ready at the first of June for shipment. I wanted to get a new wheel that wouldnt hide the bbk so I went with some 3 peice wheels from NC Forged. the rear will be rocking a 6.5" lip and the front a 3" lip. I will post pics of the build once its done :-)

Alex is able to powder coat the calipers to different colors but I wanted black to start off so I can have them done at another time. I am thinking about having them scuffed and candied so the wilwood will show up a different color. Perhaps Green.....

Oh ok, I've noticed a few set ups with stock in back, wondered if thats what most were doing, your set up sounds great.

I'll be waiting for those pics, 6.5" lip in the back...

Yeah I cant wait. I ordered them from www.ncforged.com they have a new tuner line coming out that I am the test subject for the new look. I wanted to do a 7" lip but my wide body is only 2.5 inches wider on either side in the rear so I was limited.... damn it. LOL

They are due in next week though!

Do you happen to know how much extra they are going to charge for powder coating? Also, will the rear kit maintain the parking brake?

TIA

Unfortunatly I am not sure since I went with black but give him a call and tell him I referred you and he will def take care of you. The rears from what I understand will retain the parking brake... so no worries there.

PM me if you have any questions.

Are you refering to a BBK or the WilWood kit itself?
