Cool Wierd noise from rear when i slow down. (Not Squeaking noise)

ok. The sound is from my passenger side rear. when i slow down(press brake) i hear little tapping noise and some metal grinding sound. I dont hear the noise when im cruising. but when i go about 5~10 mph and slow down, i hear the noise. I think I hear it after i repaired my Z. Few weeks back, i hit curb and I replaced the bent/broken parts. maybe its because of that accident, but i dont know what to do with it.

Pad wear indicators??? Is there a slight thumping? Check pad thickness. Otherwise, it's Repair Shop time. Good luck!

Default Rear Passenger Side Noise

SDUDE:

Is the noise the same side that you hit a curb? How many miles on your Z? Have you ever had the "clicking rear axle TSB" service done? Is the noise a grinding noise or?

Jack up the rear passenger side so the rear tire is off the ground and wiggle the tire/rim. If it wiggles, the wheel bearing may be out of round. If so, its replacement item.

Have you at least checked the pads?

I dont think its brake pad since it has some left. I would like to say the sound is more like a grinding sound, and sometimes it wiggles. so I should go and check the wheel bearing?

Yes SDUDE.. Check the wheel bearing on the rear passenger side first!
