squeaking noise from front when i brake....
I recently started to hear this squeeking noise coming from the front when i brake. I don't notice this noise when i go over bumps but just when i brake. i have track pads (didn't swap from last track event) with SS lines with Coilovers. also i'm running SPL Front upper A-arm with Cusco Sways.
Anyone know what may cause this noise?

It's probably your track pads. Racing pads are very abrasive when run at low temperatures. They literally strip all the transfered pad material from the rotor leaving bare metal. Take a look at your rotor and see if this is the case. This would lead to noise (although, track pads are generally pretty loud).
Brake pads only work properly (and run silent) when they have been broken in. This means that an even layer of pad material has been transferred to the rotor. Street pads are specificaly designed to allow a good transfer at low temps.
Another possibility is that you imprinted your rotors after your last track session. Imprinting occurs if you did not allow enough time to cool your pads. You would be able to see the outline of your pads on your rotor.
I suggest swapping your street pads back in and doing a proper break in. BTW what type of pads are you running? How are they holding up? I just swapped in Porterfield R4-S's, and I love them.

It might just be the pad. There is no dampening because you have a fixed caliper and most aggressive pads squeak with light braking. If you don't want to swap it out you can try some anti-noise shims. They provide slight dampening on the pad to keep if from vibrating and making noise. A lot of our customers use these when they don’t want to swap their track pads out for the street.
