I have a set of these sways, about to install them, and notice that they don't have that funny curve in the bar to fit the exhaust system. I am going to upgrade exhausts soon and was wondering if anyone was running this set of sways had encountered any problems with the bars clearing the exhaust?

 

good question. I have a turboxs exhaust and hope my evo sways will fit.

This has been discussed previously, but the set on my T2 racecar has this problem. The rear bar hangs down, rather than have the curves that the OEM or NISMO sways have. My 3" single exhaust rubs against this bar on the bottom and is getting dimpled where it rubs. I've tried to adjust it without success and this remains a concern.

 

so do you like the sways? I hope I notice a difference after the install tomorrow.

 

I'm going to install them soon. Just got recently and haven't had the time to do the install yet. So a 3" exhaust has some clearance problems... I was going for a 2.5 TD exhaust so I hope I don't run into any clearance problems.
