Default Do I need new pads for new rotors??

I have been thinking about ordering new rotors (drilled and slotted) in a few weeks and I just put new pads on my Z. Do I need to order new pads for the new rotors, or can I use the pads I just put on? The pads will have about 1000 miles of freeway driving on them by the time I get the new rotors. Thanks. p.s. the pads are ceramic if that matters any

Just get the rotors, you don't need new pads if you just bought some.

The reason most people put new pads when they get new rotors is that as the pad is used groves develope in them and if you use them on new rotors those groves will trasfer to them because of the high and low spots on the pad. but seeing that your pads are pretty new i dont think you will have a problem using them with your new rotors.
