COBB stage 2 review
I purchased COBB springs and sways from RallySportDirect for my 06 Enthusiast back in Spring this year. My first mod, and a terrific success.
The springs provide a comfortably stiffer ride, conservative drop and overall sportier feel to track and daily driving. The car just feels better, more planted, solid in cornering and hard acceleration.
I'm also happy with the sway bars. Front is set to stiffest, rear is least stiff. Turning, cornering, lane changing all provide better feedback.. and well.. a better, stiffer feel. It holds great in the turns and also improved the feel and performance of my Z.
I'm not advanced enough to know if the mods improved my track times, but they sure make my driving and tracking more confident and enjoyable. Definately happy with my first mod. Nice work COBB.

glad you like your setup Steve!
Next it's my turn for suspension install........now what to get......
Either the Cobb setup, or the Hotchkis package, or BC racing coilovers........

I am considering this for my 07. Any more after pics from different angles? I am well aware of the hideous rear fender gap that comes with the stock setup. You could fist that stock gap

I have had zero issues with this setup. Tire wear is fine, no goofy noises, no adjustments, no additional hardware/parts needed (except front endlinks - went with the Powergrids)
I can post some more pics, no problem. Does it matter what wheels? I think most of the standing pics that I have are with aftermarket 18x9.5 +20 Rotas with 275x35 tires front and rear.

Square 275 setup is the driving seks

I am much more humble with 255/35 and 275/35
The springs still feel the same from day one, no fit issues like others stated. I have mine paired with D-Spec struts and I love the whole setup. Only complaint is I wish the rear drop was a little more even to the front, but oh well. I would think on a Z, you would not need any camber arms or toe bolts with this setup as I only needed the rear camber/toe kit for my G and my alignment guy said I barely needed them.
Sways are discontined so get'em while you can.
Here are a few more pics with the COBB springs installed. There are a few more in my350z gallery - https://my350z.com/forum/members/the...rota-cobb.html

Thanks for the pics. Love the rotas - nice offset too.
I like this drop - the front is perfect, but I think I'd do the rear spring perch mod as well for another 1/2" drop in the rear. I am 80% leaning toward Cobb now. It has been between these and Eibach pro-kit. but the Eibach drops the front too low for my taste - plus driveways in my neighborhood are to dang steep - I would scrape 2-3 imes per day.
Do you know if the OEM springs are linear or progressive? Did you add these to OEM shocks? I am also wondering if some of the throttle-lift and brake-dive was reduced with these springs.
I am considering doing:
Cobb springs and Sways
rear spring perch mod
Adjustable control arms
Koni yellows.

Yup, from the horses mouth, this is from an email exchange from OCt-14th:
"Lester,
I went in our warehouse to take the measurements you wanted off of a set a sway bars and it turns out we don't have any left. We discontinued the 350Z/G35 sway bars a couple months ago, but I figured we would have a set laying around somewhere. Apparently I was wrong. I apologize, I will not be able to get the measurement you need. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Let me know if you need anything else.

So any that are left are only in stock with vendors, once those are gone, no more will be made. Now there are conflicting reports that these are off the shelf Hotchkis bars because the stiffness values are different. My Theory about that is maybe Cobb ordered the bars unpainted and without mounting holes and maybe there holes are in a slightly different location that provides slightly higher stiffness rates. The difference between the two brands was minimal if I recall correctly. Should be in the suspension faq here or on driver.
They're more than likely discontinued as a result of the internal restructuring thats occured at Cobb over the last couple of years.
