I recently changed out my front and rear oem brake rotors, pads and brake fluid. The rotors and fluid had 60k miles on them and the pads were oem pads worn about 70% so they were all due for a change.
I used the premium drilled and slotted rotors from r1concepts. Overall the quality of the rotors looks great and they look identical to the stoptech rotors i helped a buddy install a few weeks ago. They come with the centers and vanes coated black to prevent rust which is a plus. The price was also nice at just over $320 shipped (on ebay). I changed my brake pads to Hawk HPS in the front and axxis ultimates in the rear (for no particular reason) and my brake fluid to ate Super Blue.
The install was strait forward and went smoothly. One thing that I noticed was that my stock brake fluid was toast! It came out a dark caramel color, so if your near 60k miles I would definitely look into changing . I checked my clutch fluid and noticed it's even darker so i plan on changing that soon as well.
After breaking them in properly my initial impression is that they brake much better than stock. My brake pedal is a lot firmer and they grab much better. Before i changed them my brakes were pretty much shot so the improvement is night and day. I've had them on for a week now and so far everything is fine, no squeaks at all. The pads are a little noisy but with the windows up i can hardly hear them. I plan on going to the track in a couple of months so I'll see how well they hold up. I will post back another review after 5k miles. I can get some pictures of them installed if anyone is interested.

Awesome to hear the kit worked out!
Where did you get the ATE Super Blue, if you don't mind me asking? I am in FL and am hoping to find someplace semi-local that carries ATE...can't find anyone in South FL.

I have the same set up...R1 drilled/slotted with hawk and have done multiple autoX and drift events....
Stopping power is increased and rotors have held up great...still look good too..

I highly recommend them. I payed for it around 2-3 pm and received it the next day! It was literally less than 24 hours later, i was shocked.
I'll try to get pics up tomorrow.

^, I thought about it but decided not to because i wouldn't be tracking the car too much so i left the stock lines in.
I've had the brakes on for about 7k miles now and they're still doing great. I highly recommend them to anyone for use on the street and light track use. I wish they came in slotted only but the drilled holes haven't cause any problems. As for the pads, The axxis ultimate's are super dusty. They create about 3x more dust that the hawks i have on the front. My rear rims are brown a week after a wash while my fronts still look clean.

Their prices may have gone up from when i bought them. When i bought them they had an auction for all 4, I used the "make an offer" option on the ebay page and they accepted it. Try making a lower offer before you use the buy it now.
what do you guys think about their e-line? the only difference I can see is more drilling and the painted centers

I called them and talked to them about each type of rotor before buying mine. If you never plan on tracking your car then go with the e-line. The zinc coating keeps the rotor from rusting and i've seen other members use them with no complains. If you plan on tracking your car i would get the premium ones. They get their premium rotors from centric, the same company that supplies stoptech.
