Default Performance Benefit of springs

Will I gain any performance benefit from stock springs with 60k miles to new hotchkis springs?

I have the 03 springs with the unrevised rears, not sure on compression rate comparisons

With the mileage, I'd just do coilovers

You won't get the adjustable height but I think it would be best to get the shock valved for the springs that you get but I'm sure someone can chime in as I'm only guessing

IMHO, it really depends on how much money you wanna spend. That and what you plan on doing with the car in the future.

the car is a DD and will remain that way for 2 more years minimal.
I do autox and some track and want better handling.
So far I have stock suspension with hotchkis sways (which I'm about to stiffen up)

So how much you willing to spend? Do you want to get suspension and still want to have some money to take out blasian's mom? Or do you wanna just go all out and spend it all on the suspension?

I dont have the money for coilovers atm.
Ideally I'd like to spend <300 now
and possibly ~1000 down the road for the real deal.

no real benefits from putting the springs on your shocks...

what could work well for you but not break the bank is a shock/spring combo. an adjustable shock like the kyb would be perfect in my opinion along with whatever springs you want

Depending on the spring drop i give your stock shocks about 6 months, then you will have to get shocks. Just get shocks and springs at the same time, save if you have to. Just to add a good shock and spring are better than some cheap coilovers. For around $1k go shock and spring or maybe ground control+koni set up.
