A little installation tip for people installing Eibach or other springs
I had to install and remove and reinstall my springs on my car. The rears are very easy with not much work but the fronts are a little tricky if you dont have a set of spring compressors. I even tried a set of spring compressors but it didnt help much unless you want to disassamble the upper control arms, which I did not. So I came up with this little solution and it worked perfect. When you do this all you have to do is first disconnected the lower and upper shock mount and then the swaybar link. Then insert your jack as shown. Give a few turns, just enough to give you room to remove the assembly and wala, it will pop right out. Then reinstall your springs and crank it down and your done. This has taken a 1 hour job without this and turned it into a twenty min job able to be done by yourself.
the easier and better way to do it is to remove the nut on the upper control arm ball joint.... separate the upper arm from the spindle and the whole assembly drops down.
takes about 30 seconds to do it.
