Parking brake light shows up at takeoff...
what the hell is going on? at first it would go away after a second or two, but lately it's been staying on. i'd have to be at a complete stop before it would turn off...and today i was in a rush for my english class...so i was going bout 75, thinking..."goddamn...i might need a new parking brake". it's not in effect however. the light is just on...

anyone got any ideas?

brake fluid is low and/or brake pads are worn.... topping off the brake fluid is the easiest thing to do... but you should most definitely check the pads first.... you don't want to top off the fluid only to have to replace the pads a short while later and have to remove brake fluid to keep it from overflowing when the pistons are pushed back in to accommodate the thicker pads.....

brake fluid is causing it? i just figured a sensor was getting thrown outta alignment when i accelerated quickly. wow. but that makes a little bit of sense i supose...i'll definitely check it out...
sounds like pads are wearing out. don't fill it with fluid before checking brake pads first. if you do fill, you will only be taking fluid out again when you change your pads. unless its leaking brake fluid?
