Default Explain something about OEM Strut Bar...

I was adjusting the strut bar today, and I found it interesting how simply turning a little nut would raise it. How exactly does it work? What relation does the nut have to controlling the height of bar?

Im guessing the more you raise it, the more tension it puts. What does that equate to? I have no idea.

if you are tightening the bar to the point where the height is changing, you are bending the bar, and making it too tight. Once there is tension on the nut, the bar is tightened sufficiently

The bar is bent. More tension bends it more. Less tension bends it less.
