Thumbs up Best Place to buy brakes

Hi All,

I've done a lot of searching and haven't been able to get the answer I'm looking for.

Where can I buy for the best price:

-OEM replacment slotted rotors (powerslot or rotara (is one better than the other?)?

-Axxis or Hawk HPS pads (is one better than the other)? I only use it as a daily drive and don't want squeal.

-This is only for the front

I would like to have them in my hands by Friday at the latest so I can install on Saturday. Please give me your recommendations and/or places you know have the best prices without sacrificing customer service.

Thanks!

-Guy who just needs some good breaks.

For a DD, dont get slotted , just get blanks if you don't want extra noise.

I just don't want them to squeel, I don't mind if there is a rougher noise as long as their grabbing and working. I plan on trying out the track so I need something that can stand up to some abuse but it won't happy that often at all.

I had cross drilled and slotted on an 3G eclipse and I love them (powerslot) if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the help so far and keep it coming...I will probably buy either tonight or tomorrow.

do not get anything other than blank rotors. you will regret it on the track.

I've looked but I was hoping for some recommendations.

Slow Jim, why do you say slotted not for the track? Why do they make them if they aren't good for the track or as a daily driver?

Other than a faster wearing of pads I can't think of any drawbacks of slotted rotors.

Hawk HPS pads are great even the HPS Plus race pads are very quite. I don't know about Axxis. I have HPS street pads now with zero noise.
