Default Busted shock

My right front shock snapped while I was doing about 55 mph. I had the car towed and replaced the shock. Now, when I drive I hear some squeaks and squeals that seem to be coming from the front right of the Z. Does any one have any idea what it might be? It really sounds bad, is there anything I can check out my self before I get raped at the dealership?

A few variables here...

How many miles are on the left shock and broken shock?
- If it were a lot (60k) I would have replaced them both.

Did you replace it with the same brand/model shock?

Who did the work, do they warranty their work?

The squeaking could be the new ones getting seated, doubt it but...

The impact and twisting could have easily mess up some bushings, bent suspension parts and even messed up a wheel bearing.

Man, do I feel dumb. I looked in my engine bay yesterday and found a socket and huge extension attached to one of the bolts on the catalic converter. Te mechanic left it there. I took it off and the sound is gone. Thanks for the answers anyways.

You might want to avoid these hot-dog tuners in the future.

You still should get the car looked at, cause the shock did break with driving and could have twisted up a few things.

Had it looked at and all is well. I just need to get my axles to stop clicking and I'll be happy.
