Well i got my rear kit from Todd over at TCE the other day. Its a 13inch slotted rotor with 4 piston calipers for a great price. PM him for details. Here is the layout of the kit on my living room floor.

First step of the process, is to join the rotor hats to the disks, simple enough and torque them to specs.

Next we have the most challenging part of the install, safety wire, if you don't own any, hit up Harbor Freight for safety wire pliers and some 0.032 safety wire. I'm an aircraft mechanic, yours may not come out looking as pretty, but they're on the backside of the rotor anyhow.

Jack up the car , remove the wheels and say goodbye to the old little caliper and rotor. These are the 06's on my 03.

Next remove the caliper and just let it hang down for now, there is no use in disco'ing the line unless you want brake fluid to leak till you finish installing the new lines.

Next remove and install the new caliper bracket. Torque to specs. My dust shield was already cut off before. I just used a set of tin snips and 10 minutes of time. If you don't want to remove them , you will have to trim then up a little, so have tin snips ready if your going to do any BBK.

Now we get to install the rotor and caliper, rotor first. Both rotors are market with arrows, make sure you install the rotors on the proper sides. Once this is done you can remove the brake line at the inner connection and connect your new brake line. (not shown, the 90 degree elbow on the backside of the caliper, is facing down, and i ran the brake line under the toe arm )

Now its time to install the brake pads, its so simple even a caveman could do it. They just slide in and the retaining clip slides into place. Once this is done, its time to bleed the brakes. I'm not going into detail, if your doing this install, you should already know how to do that.

This is what it looks like with the wheel over them, VERY NICE, even though my wheels are dirty. Time for a slow roadtest followed by the initial fun of bedding the new pads in.

Once again this were ordered from TCE brakes http://www.tceperformanceproducts.com/ they are a sponcor on this site, they have great customer service, and the expertise to answer any of your braking needs.

kit used the factory parking brake , just like most other BBK's for our car. Look at the safety wire pic, its kinda real easy to tell that the E brake drum is there.
