How many have VDC and upgrade sway bars?
I've been trying to do some research on the compatibility of upgraded sway bars and the VDC. How many folks have upgrade sway bars? Any issues with VDC? I track my car and I'd like to balance the handling out. I'm considering Hotchkis swaybars. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
I, like many others have changed out sway bar or other suspension parts, wheels, etc and have no problems with VDC.
The Nissan warnings about VDC are basically to cover their asses in case something happens to the car with aftermarket parts on it. While VDC is designed with certain parameters based onthe OEM equipment, it appears to function normally when reasonable parts swap-out have occurred.

ya, your not gonna have a problem, VDC is designed to pick up loss of traction, in other words when it finds one wheel "slipped" as in spun faster by a far amount in comparison to the other then it "kicks in" and degrades power to the wheel and compensates with cross manipulative braking (Passenger side rear slips, drivers front brakes, get it.......
putting a sway bar or most/all suspension components doesn't affect that! (excessive spinning of wheel versus opposite side wheel)
the VDC sensor on the wheel is reading off a ring that spins with the hub....nothing you do will affect that other than DRRIIIIIIFFFTTT! so to drift, turn it off! lol
to autoX, dont drift...lol...
