sorry to up this... but didnt wana start a new thread for a question. what tools will i be needing for this? im at school, so im having to buy it all. jack, jack stands, full socket set and a screw driver is all im thinking... but let me know if i need anything else.

wow this will get pricey. Maybe look for a buddy with tools or even consider paying a shop if you're gonna have to buy tools (unless you don't own any tools back home):

floor jack
jack stands
full socket set
torque wrench
maybe screwdrivers?
mechanics gloves (optional, but good if you don't want busted knuckles)
safety glasses (optional, but working under a car sucks without safety glasses)

I'd seriously ask around my350z local forums to see if anybody can give you a hand.

i actually need most of this stuff for when i move out anyways. i have socket set, and torque wrench already, and dont have the rest of the stuff at home anyways.. so no big deal

What kind of jack are you looking to buy? Make sure you get a low pro one. Though if you decided to go real low then you might want to buy some ramps too.

i bought just a torin low profile jack and some stands a little bit ago. it happened to be on sale too at pep boys.

im probably going to need to make those diy ramps for after its dropped... since im going to drop 2-3"
