Default ap vs. stoptech/rotara

Got an 06 g35 sport(non brembo) got awful brake fade and warped rotors so im going to upgrade to a bbk. roughly all the 4pot 13" kits are within $100 of each other. however the ap kit only has a 1 piece rotor and no ss lines or pads. the other kits have 2 piece rotors and sslines and pads. Which kit do you guys recommend. i know its personal pref. but ive heard that the AP are race proven, that the stoptech kit is made specifically to run with stock rears, etc. I just dont see the point in the ap, when it is less complete and has 1 piece rotors. Any advice would be good. thanks

2-pc rotors for sure! Much better cooling.

the AP kits we sell comes with pads and stainless lines

both are excellent kits, tons of pads offered for either one.

AP stuff is just always more expensive. Thats how it goes.

If two piece rotors are important to you, go with the 14.25", 6 piston AP kit. I love it.

If bang for the buck and price is your primary concern, get the stoptech kit. Either kit is going to be worlds better then the stock brakes.

I was simply amazed with my AP kit, 6pot 14.25" front and 4pot 13" rears. Have work flawlessly since installed, other than the dust from the ferodo 2500's. I'm sure Stoptech/Rotora make very good kits as well, I just happen to fall in to a AP Racing deal.

As sacspe fell into a good AP deal, I fell into a good deal on a new StopTech 4-wheel deal. Have had 'em on for 3+ years now & no problems. One of the best performance/appearance mods I've done.
