gennosuke1,
If you want "cover the gap but not sit on the tire like its a lowrider" then you shouldn't be looking at Tanabes. I think they are waayy too low for practicality.
Here's my SWIFT Sport Mach install thread (I no longer run them):

well i have the tein-s and it just didnt drop the car enough. Plus i tried to save some money and install it at home. It was freaking hard. i would just save other what 400 to 500 and get some coilovers. much easier to install and you get the nice drop with performance. sooner or later your gonna want some coilovers.

I agree with iFOB. I like having the adjustablity too. I put my coilovers on then decided I would like to go lower, so I did. Couldn't have done that with springs. I got bilstein pss9s and I am very satisfied.

I agree that springs alone suck I have gf210s they were cool when i first installed them but then i looked for shocks and realized i could of bought coil overs for about the same price maybe a little more but i could of enjoyed them soo much more due to the ajustability. Now i crashed my **** into a wall i gotta replace the passenger shock along with other parts and now im lookin at 150 for a dealer shock thats a waste and after u install gf210s or any other lowering spring ur eventually gonna have to change ur shocks cause theyll blow out so look into tien coil overs youll save in the end and the adjustability and control u will have is 10 times better do it the right way... peace

thanks yea i kno
maybe i should just save up for used coilovers but they are so expensive
at least u dont have to replace shock until another half year or year so that saves time for you to save up
