Hey guys whats up, I'm getting ready to do new brake pads for my 2005 z. I was going to take it to the dealership to get it done, however when they told me the price I decided to defiantly do it myself. The dealership told me that, I need to change the rotors every time I change the pads (because their some sort of soft rotor) Is this true, or should I just change the pad and buy upgraded rotors.

I just ended up replacing the pads myself the rotors, were fine the dealership was just trying to stick up my @#$. I think I will by some new rotors over the holiday for *****. Thanks for the replies.
