Default Brembo Question

When i have to change the brakes on my 350z, how much more would it cost me to put on the brembos? Would nissan do this (i have a touring)

depends on where you find the brembos.

do a seach, i just answered this not too long ago.

First, don't buy they from the dealer. Second, if you want the Brembos, go to Brembo.com and look up the street package (4 piston fronts). This would be your best bet. Or, just buy them used from a forum member.

"change the brakes" I assume you mean brake PADS?

pads are VERY cheap, no more than 80$ I dont think for all 4. they are made to be changed.

brembo swap would require rotors, and calipers as well. sorta like saying I need new spark plugs, what would it cost to put a hemi in?

unless you were changing your rotors(I mean CHANGE, not have them resurfaced) the caliper is still pretty much the machinery behind it all, and is what gives the brembos their performance.

your lookin at a few thousand. and if you did it, Id reccomend just using stoptech or something like that vs track brakes. again analogy would be to upgrade to track rims, when for the same money you could have almost any forged rim in whatever size you want, with whatever tread you want. OEM equipment has a huge markup, and is rarely as good as aftermarket, even when its the upgraded OEM equipment.
