Default Alignment Specs Check

I had this alignment done a few thousand miles ago and since then ive been through a full set and another quarter set of rear tires. I drive somewhat aggressively but my car is just eating rear tires.

Im an alignment noob so if anyone would point out anything that would be killing my rear tires I would appreciate it.

there is more toe in on the front and rear than I usually like to see. I would aim for 0.04 for the front, and 0.04-0.06 for the rear

Maybe the alignment machine they were using wasn't calibrated lately? Otherwise the specs look fine

Yeah, that alignment looks great. No reason it should be eating tires.

you need to see what part of your rear tires (or any tire) is wearing first. then adjust your alignment based on that.

Sorry for the thread abandonment. Its pretty much the inside of the rears that are going first. Visually, it looks like the rears are running more negative camber than they should.

I just put on a fresh set of tires so ill see what this pair does.

I'll say this once.

CAMBER WILL NOT EAT TIRES AS FAST AS YOUR EATING TIRES...unless of course your running -7.0 degrees.

Your running more toe than I'd run. and apparently your tires agree. bring it in a bit...no more than .04 per side...

If your eating inside edges you have too much toe out.

If your eating outside edges you have too much toe in.

if you are running on the outer sidewalls (see scrub marks on sidewalls). then you need to check pressures and decrease camber (or increase NEG camber).

if your tire wear shows somewhat increased wear on both outer and inner edges increase tire pressure

If your tire wear shows somewhat increased wear on center section decrease tire pressure.

Camber really shouldn't be taken into account for tire wear, unless its been tens of thousands of miles. toe will destroy tires much faster....depending on how far off I've seen it eat tires to death in a cpl hundred miles.

And BTW your alignment guy is a moron if he hasn't caught on to the problem at hand.
