suspension noise after alignment
Hi everyone, i got my buddyclub coils installed about a month ago with very little noise. Occasionally i would get a slight pop/clank/thud from them going over speedbumps or potholes but not bad. However, i took my Z for an alignment last week, and ever since, my front passenger wheel well is making this loud pop/thud. It would occur with just the slightest imperfection to the road. It mostly occurs in lower speeds. It sounds like something is lose, and is making this frequent metal to metal thud/clank. Im a suspension noob so im not sure what to look for? I do not want to take it back to the shop as my last visit was my third and they keep making excuses that my Z is lowered which is why my allignment keeps going out of whack? I plan on doing the Firestone lifetime allignment plan after this. I don't know what the tech had to touch to align the front wheels, but if someone could tell what to look for i would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Thanks

first guess would be endlinks on the sways...but thats just a guess. doubt its the alignment....unless you have other aftermarket suspension parts.

I used to have this problem. People suggested a bolt related to the suspension wasn't tightened down enough. They were right. Determine which side it's coming from, and tighten down everything you can or re-install that spring.
If they were endlinks or sways, the sound wouldn't be that loud and it's more like a hollow sounding clunk as opposed to a metal thud.

Thanks guys, ^ thats what i thought it would be, a lose bolt. But what gets me is why did it get worse after an alignment? Or is it just the coilovers? Anyone have an idea which bolt it would be?
Thanks

do you have any other aftermarket suspension parts?
Anything you removed to install the coil overs could be too loose.
Am I the only person who's heard of a torque wrench?
The Z I rode in that had endlink issues was loud as hell.
