both are nearly identical to one another in terms of ride quality as well as overall quality.

neither HKS nor Cusco offer rebuilding in the US as far as I'm aware. Not a big deal anyway, as there are TONS of places out there that can rebuild them I'm sure

really all comes down to your own personal preference to be honest - both will perform similarly. We offer both, the Cusco is a bit less, especially with the sale price we have on them now (I think we have a set left still), but HKS are not too far off price wise

oh and im sorry about the exhaust. my friend told me not too. told me to spend it towards suspension. saying i would more likely "feel" the suspension difference over the lil HP gains a exhaust would give. well ima be getting the hipermax 3 at a STEAL brand new out the box. but the cuscos are like 150 cheaper then the hipermax at a steal. so im wondering are the cuscos up to par or should i spend the extra 150 the first time. get it right. and get hks?

as mentioned, there really is no significant difference between them, so go with what your budget dictates - both will work very well

HKS is based in SoCal - Cusco has offices in SoCal and Illinois. Last I checked, HKS does not rebuild in the US, and Cusco does not rebuilt at all, they simply sell new dampers. I think we've sold maybe 3 individual replacement dampers for the Cusco coilovers, total (not just Z's, but total cars) in the last 6 years - they are excellent
