Since sway bars only couple when the body rolls and hydroplanning is a going straight condition.........the bars are effectively invisible at a steady speed or going straight.

Don't confuse complex lateral stickson when rear is sliding sideways [fishtailing] with hydroplanning.

Optimizing the dampening of shocks with springs and tire springs is the critical factor with fishtailing.............

Many forget shocks are matched to springs and don't consider additional shock stiffness when roll stiffness is increased with bars........only applicable in a serious road course with continuous L-R -L turns everywhere.........when head continuously bangs back and forth in helmet...........extra shocks for bars that only work in turns not straight ahead.

be careful what setting you use. If it's too stiff, you're going to lose tire contact with pavement around corners, thus altering your grip.

What about rear lateral brace and lower tir brace? are those worth getting or should the sway bars do the trick? what settings have some of you found to be a good combination?

increasing chassis stiffness is usually not used to tune suspension. usually the goal is to make the chassis stiff so you can accurately tune your suspension instead of having to tune it with the flex.

adding braces may change the balance of the car but that's because they remove compliance from that end (front or rear) of the car.

think of it along the lines of having really worn out suspension bushings... you can't perform an accurate alignment if your lower control arm has a lot of play in it. the error in the system is greater than the thing you're trying to adjust.

I just put Tein S springs on the car and I want the car to handle good. I have energy suspension inserts on my eclipse and front/ rear strut bars and the car can take a sharp turn and have almost No body roll.
