Brembos worth the search?
I am looking to buy a roadster but finding one with the Brembos is looking to be tough with the color I want and MT, especially in Canada.
Are the Brembos worth the extra search and $$$ (IIRC, they only came in the 06+ GT)? I see there is a g37s swap that you can do and probably cheaper then trying to find a roadster with Brembos.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have any asperations of being a track star but I do intend to squeeze in some weekend track time.

Brembos are everywhere now. If you find a Z you like but it only has standard brakes you could always swap them out for brembos. I bought a full set off of ebay for $1175 shipped and deals like that aren't uncommon if you're patient enough to keep looking.
I was also looking at the Wilwood BBKs too, for like 3K. Probably better then the G37s Brakes, not sure about the OEM Brembos. They should be with them being 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears, both fronts and rears with 2 piece roters.

Go with OEM Brembos. That's what I did. I swapped my '06 stock brakes with Brembos from a G35. You'll also have better pad selection than Wilwoods, in addition to being a much more inexpensive option than buying a BBK.

I've raced Nissans with Wilwoods, Outlaw and Brembo brakes and always wonder why people think MORE is BETTER. With doing an occasional track day or HPDE, it's OVERKILL to have a 6-piston front/4-piston rear setup. The car doesn't need that much brake and you're only adding weight where it sucks HP and torque!
