Alignment/Suspension Question
After lowering my car and getting some wheels I noticed it's hard to drive straight sometimes on the highway/freeway depending on the road condition. just slight swerving every now and then.
I have volks 19x9.5 & 19x10.5 wrapped in toyo t1r 245/35/19 & 275/35/19 and lowered on bilstein coilovers. Not an aggressive drop just flush.
Since then i haven't yet added camber kits or gotten a wheel alignment but i was wondering if anyone else had this problem. On a straight flat surface, i'm driving straight so i want to say the alignment isnt that much of an issue. I'm guessing its the negative camber thats causing the slight swerving. could it be the tire size? or something totally different?

Definitely do an alignment check after replacing the coilover on a Z. It will throw the alignment off. By the way, not every road is flat, even on the freeway. Sometime u think it is flat, but actually is not. If the alignment is off, the swerving should happen all the time. Also, check your tire pressure, if 1 side is different than the other, the vehicle will also pull to one side.

thanks pat... yea the tires were right off the tire shop so no issues there. but i'm definitely thinking of gettin an alignment. Also, i just spoke with someone who said it might also be the style of tire tread of the tires which might grab the lines of the road.

camber is not adjustable on stock 350z suspension. but your toe has changed because you changed ride heights. you have to fix your toe settings or you're going to wear your tires out quickly. and if your coilovers are ride height adjustable you should get your car corner balanced too.
but in general, more negative camber and lower profile tires make your car follow the slight grooves in the road more, so yes your car will want to wander more when you're all said and done.
