Default Can not turn down Brembo rotors because of material?

Dropped my front Brembo rotors off at a parts store this morning. When I went to pick them up they said that the rotors are a composite material and can not be turned.... Any truth to that?

I think according to nissan your not supposed to. But as long as your not under spec you should be fine. Try somewhere else.

I had mine done by Infiniti so it should be fine. They said they can only be turned once and they will probably not last as long as new rotors would.

Of course the brembos aren't ceramic like the ZR1s, but I know for the life of the ZR1's rotors, you don't have to service them.

Are they ceramic too?
