As I am researching more concerning the tire feathering issue, yes I have a 07 and it does show signs of feathering. I had a similar issue on my z32.
What the z32 turned out to be after repeated alignments was a worn, not visibly damaged, tension rod bushing which was allowing the whole front suspension to essentually toe out during hard braking. The alignments wouldn't solve it because it was a dynamic issue rather than static.
So...this has lead me to think that the somewhat soft stock compression rod bushing might be causing the toe out problem/tire feathering issue even if the alignment is in place. The compression rod on the Z33 should function a similar purpose as the tension rod on the Z32.
The tire feathering seems like a constant battle for some and so I was wondering if anyone has replaced this bushing and are there aftermarket replacements. Yeah, Nismo doesn't make one nor ES.

It appears that the replacement bushings for OEM Infiniti G35's compression rods are stiffer with less void. Stiffer, better, redesigned because Infinti had a large amount of failures in warranty times. And you can only get the bushings by themselves from Infiniri, my Nissan dealer couldn't get it when I handed him the part #.
I have 2 on order and will take pictures and update when they arrive and when I'm changing the bushings/results.

It appear that the G35 replacement bushings have a lot MORE void than the OEM 350Z bushings. Originals felt like 100+ pounds of weight just to have tension rod pivot.
The road noise and choppy ride seem much improved, more G35 like without any handling changes. The better articulation without binding should improve handling. Time will tell. My original bushings don't show signs of deterioration or splitting.
2 pictures on left are 350Z, right is OEM G35 replacement.
The Z has thicker inside steel sleeves = less rubber between outer shell and O.D. of core sleeve.
