Anyone using Ksport or Megan Coilovers?
Debating on whether either one of these would be a good purchase.
Would be used occasionally to drag and drift, mainly street.
Let me know what you think of these coilovers.
Thanks

You are boosted.. spend a little more on better quality parts. I'm going to have to say neither...
KW Variants, HKS Hipermaxes, Zeals, Teins.. etc you get my vibe, are worth the extra money.

If the coilovers are going to be used mainly for street, the Megans are surprisingly pretty good for the price. They also allow for a lot of ride adjustment if you like dropping your car. I would recommend looking for a low mileage set that usually runs in the $500 range since a lot of people are afraid to buy the Megan name on this part. Anyways, good luck.

How about SMA Coilovers ?
Of course, SMA is not the brand name anybody ever heard about it in US.
But their quality has been proved in S. Korea and we are bring them over here.
Theri quality is somewhat close or even better than TEIN MonoFlex but the price is amazingly low.
We are taking pre-orders now for mid May arrivals.

I'm on K-Sport control pros. They are only for street use, I don't track or anything crazy. They get the job done for me, which is to have an adjustable stiffness/height. I'm not too sure how they'd do for tracking/drifting, but I've had absolutely no problems with them yet and the price was definitely right.

Define your goals
Budget?
What do you want out of your new suspension?
What do you plan on doing with the car that might be important to know suspension wise?
Ride height, how much drop do you want?
Do you have any brands you do not like?
Brands you do like?
Goals, some drag, little drifting, mainly street.
dont care about budget really would go up to 2k or less, the less the better obviously.
dont want noisy...
want about 1-1.5 inch drop
what are the best routes to go....?
i absoulutely know nothing about coils...
people liked megans on their 240...i had tein ss and they were good i thought...

Do not want to touch them with a 10000000000000000000000 yard stick.
I would rather keep it stock than run that junk.
A lot of nice options out there: KW Variants, Tanabe Pro 5s/7s if they have them, HKS Hipermax series coilovers for starters.

How about the Greddy Type-S coilovers? I know Greddy is not known for their suspensions but it's not a bad setup. Since it's mostly for the street, these might work for you since they have softer spring rates. I have them on my car and they're very streetable and quiet so far. Not too expensive either. I think they'd be a bit soft for hardcore track junkies but should be okay for what you're doing.
