Default Which caliper would you choose

What caliper would you choose for your Z? I think the second one is better.

cross drilled and slotted equals better cooling (for brake fade) but less surface area

I was talking about calipers..I should have left out the pic of the rotor.

If your car is a dedicated race car get #2 , if not #1 will be more than enough.

I run #1, never seen brakes fade and can clear my 17inch track wheels with them.

Both of them are great calipers I just think #2 looks better, even if my car is not a dedicated race car with the right pads it can be used as a good daily driver.

I've strongly believe cross-drilled are more crack proned and the cooling effect of cross drilled is BS. So I'd choose 2. But it's fine on the street and if u're going for looks.

search 'wilwood drilled rotor crack' on google and read all the sources.

That is true cross-drilled is more of a show rotor if you go full race you would want slotted, but I am talking about the caliper. Which one would you choose for your Z on looks. Both of them are great calipers but the designs are diffrent I like the second design better.

damn, sorry misread it. I agree 2nd one looks better too. Think it's something w/ the way it shows all 3 pistons.

I think the 2nd post mislead me and skipped over the emoticons of the other threads. haha

I like the first one. Mainly because i dont like seeing the shape of the pistons embossing out.

You probably won't even impress any guys your trying to pick up with the difference in calipers. No one will notice, and #1 will match the rears better as far as looks go.

I would go with #1.

I like the shape of it more than #2. If I bought those, i would definitely powdercoat them to get rid of the "wilwood". I do not like that logo in the slightest.
