When jacking my car up the other day to put on my summer rims I heard some creaking noises coming from the driver side rear suspension. It also makes that sound sometimes when I get out of the car depending how fast I jump out.

Any ideas?

 

What kind of suspension do you have? Are you stock?

 

Stock. No coilovers or anything special. Possibly lowering springs, shocks/struts.

 

Sounds like you might have some creaky end links. Factory end links can go bad and make creaking noises. Do a search and you'll find a lot of info.

 

You're unsure of your suspension? Is it because you purchased the car used and it was already moded?

I was also thinking perhaps it could be a bad bushing somewhere in the rear. What year is the car and how many miles?
